Food, Fun and Learning -Sept.11 Potluck

Join us at the next Horticultural General Meeting – Monday, Sept. 11, 2017.

We have our Harvest Potluck Supper scheduled, which means that you should bring something – entree, vegetable dish, salad, or dessert to share with fellow members.

Doors open at 5:30 pm, dinner begins at 6:00pm. We will be meeting, of course, in the basement of the United Church on Malabar Drive.

Following dinner our program will include:

Garden Trivia organized by Veronica Bahun.  Teams of 6 will be organized for the competition and the winning team will receive prize(s).

Nancy Tibbles will be handing out the cash prizes for this years’ Flower & Vegetable Show winners.

Plant Seed Exchange. IF you have any surplus plants or packages of seed you would like to share with fellow members,be sure to bring them.  Plants should be potted and labelled, bulbs and tubers should be bagged for easy transport.

Be sure to visit the Flip Chart and write down your suggestions for next years’ Program. The Board will be working on the 2018 Program early this fall and welcome any possible topics and/or speakers

Hope to see you on the 11th!
