Each year, the Sault Ste. Marie Horticultural Society has two competitions, the Flower and Garden Show, held in July or August, and the Photography Competition, held in November-December. These competitions are open to all Hort Society members in good standing (the Flower and Garden Show also has one category for non-members for both 16 and under and adults).

It is People’s Choice this year. Entries may be submitted to Peter McLarty at November’s meeting or no later than November 15th.

We encourage all of our members to express their love of gardening and plants and their creativity through participating in these competitions. You do not have to be an expert floral designer or photographer to enter! We want as many members to participate as possible.
